N14 Millon Lawsuit: Hon. Abdulkarim Vs Bar. Yakubu Hassan, Court Fixes February 2, For Hearing

The High court sitting in Akwanga Local Government Area of Nasarawa State fixed February 2 for hearing.

The presiding Judge, Justice Mustapha Abdulmumini Rahmat during the pre trial of the lawsuit adjourned the matter for hearing of statement facts.

Counsel to the complaint, Bar. Mustapha Sadiq shortly after the adjournment explained that the stipulated time was to enable the parties to display information sheet as well as to entertain questions and answers.

Mustapha Sadiq says his client , Bar. Yakubu Hassan,Former Organising Secretary of the PDP have solid ground to be victorious in the matter.

“Is a clear issue, the payment of the N15,000,000m was a directive by the national Headquarter of their party, The People’s Democratic Party”.

The defense Counsel, Bar. A. A Pius in an interview explained that his client Hon. Abdulkarim Usman, member Federal House of Representatives, representing Akwanga/Nasarawa Eggon/Wamba was not in court.

He maintained that no formal communication in respect to why is not in court.

Bar.Pius declined further comment, “Is prejudice for me to speak further as the matter is before a court of competent jurisdiction.
