My Govt. Will Step On Many Toes For Imo Liberation: Ihedioha Tells Imo Elders, Leaders

As part of recognizing the electoral efforts of the timing Imolites across the 27 LGA’s of the state in the last guber polls in 2019,the Imo Governor-Elect,Rt.Hon.Emeka Ihedioha,was on Friday,March 22nd 2019 in Owerri,appreciated all Imo people especially the members of Imo Elders Advisory Council in Orlu and Okigwe Zones extraction of the state for voting him into power as Governor.

 

During the Appreciation/Thank you Meeting organized by the Elders Advisory Council in Orlu/Okigwe Zones,which held at the Art Nouveau Event Center off Owerri/Portharcourt Road,the newly elected Imo Governor,Chief Ihedioha,thanked Imolites for collectively making him Governor of the “Liberation of Imo People” from the shackles of bad government from the out going Imo Governor,Rochas Okorocha,whom he described as a monster.

 

The Governor-Elect,Ihedioha while speaking,said ” My govt.will only tolerate truth,justice,equity and fairness. Liars shall never be allowed to deceive Imo people. I will respect rule of law. Nobody or group of people would be allowed to cause failure in my administration. Every body would be carried along,both those who voted against me and those for my victory. Era of falsehood in governance are gone and history. Intelligent individuals with good leadership ideas and visions irrespective of their zones or political party affiliations must be accommodated  to uplift the state. There shall never be a govt.of one family rather a govt.of the people by the people shall be implemented. Under my watch,there would be quality education,regular payment of workers salaries,pension arrears,youth employment and women empowerment shall be my paramount. Remember,I won clearly as Governor-Elect and that was why INEC returned me. My deep gratitude goes to you all (Imolites) for your support. My victory is from God and the people. I have paid my dues.I built the PDP as part my leadership sacrifices in the past and the result is my victory in 2019. I won convincingly during the party primaries.  My victory is the beginning of Imo liberation. My govt.would be guided by the truth. Evil leaders shall not be received”,Ihedioha submitted.

 

Hon.Emeka Ihedioha, furthermore, said ” my govt.would step on many toes in the state. I will also apologize to the people. The LG will work again. Imo is dirty, I will fix the state. I will demolish all illegal structures built at the premises of Imo Judges Quarters in Owerri. With due-process, my govt.shall recover all the properties forcefully acquired by the govt.of Okorocha. Imolites with special skills would be deeply involved in my govt.to move the state forward. I will re-develop free education policy in the state. In my first three months as a Governor, about 100 Mathematics Teachers shall be engaged fully. I am ready to employ/engage Gov.Rochas’ relatives. I won as a Governor-Elect with over 83,000 votes. Mbaise Nation is a densely populated area. Imo must be fix”,Ihedioha stated.

 

The Imo Gov. Elect, however insisted that his govt. shall pull down anybody who wanted to draw him down.

 

“Days of negotiations from people are gone, we are poised, ready and passionate to serve. Transition/Inauguration Committee would be set up soonest. All I needed is your upright and sincere services to move Imo State forward with great leadership experience. I will work in collaboration with all the Imo legislators. The era of court cases are gone”, he said.
