Plateau State Governor Jonah David Jang has told Muslim faithful to uphold  the virtue of sacrifice which is the thrust of the Ed-el-Kabir is what Nigeria desires at this point in time.
Governor Jang stressed that as citizens, we should reflect on what we have to offer to the nation for its development and growth and not only what Government has to offer.
The Governor stated this in his Ed-el-kabir sallah message to the entire Muslim ummah and Nigerians from the office of the director of Press ,Mr James Manok
The Nigeria Governors Forum Chairman said as Islam professes peace, Muslims should not only champion peaceful values in society but be embodiment of peace, love and good moral as exemplified by Prophet Mohammed.

According to Governor Jang, Muslim must also show love to their fellow brothers and neigbours irrespective of faith, not only during festive period like this but to daily endeavor to add meaning to people around them and the society at large.
He noted the sacrifice offered by Prophet Ibrahim to God of his cherished son should not only be seen as a ritual but should be a virtue every true Muslim should carry as a way of life.
The NGF Chairman while wishing Nigerians a peaceful and fruitful celebration called for prayers for the leadership in the States and country as well as urging the citizenry to give the government maximum support.

He reiterated the resolved of the Plateau State Government to build a sound moral foundation for the transformation of every sector of the economy.
