Former Senior Special Adviser , to Sen. Joshua Dariye now Aspirant for Plateau State House of Assembly Bokkos Local Government Area ,Mrs Nancy Umbule Tajan has pledged to improve on women’s participation in Nigeria politics .
Tajan disclosed this yesterday in an interview with the media on her plan vying for the state House of Assembly under Bokkos Local Government to add value to women folks in the country.
She decried the high rate of unemployed and non participation of women in Nigeria politics .
She lamented that the plight of women in Nigeria needs urgent attention from government because non employment of women in government activities in the country led many to roaming about engaging in unproductive venture.
Tajan promised to empower women in her constituency if elected come 2015 by also working toward past child right act bill into law.
She explained further that women in Nigeria lack basic medical care in the country which make them vulnerable to several poor health facilities.
SA pointed out that ,she will focus more on improving the security challenges to safeguard the lives of people of Bokkos LG .
According to her ,” I joined politics to bring my experience to bear ,PDP have done very well in Plateau state under the present administration but we need to improve on the achievement, I am capable of improving my people live” .
