Military Foils Plan To Demolish Own Office In Rugby Club Polo Donated To Vigilante Group Of Nigeria

There has been an Indiscriminate selling of the Rugby club land situated at Polo club in Plateau State as a family threatened to demolish the building belonging to the Nigeria Army donated to them by the Former Governor Joshua Chibe Dariye in 2006 to help fight insecurity rampaging kidnapping and raping of minors in the area.

The situation called for urgent intervention of the state government to remedy the land sellers in the club.

Our medium gathered that many shop owners were forced to vacate their small businesses owing to the forceful eviction undertaken by some of the family members who are claiming that they’ve won the case in court.

However, our correspondent spoke to the Vigilante Group of Nigeria, (VGN) , Commandant Joseph .K. Zimmah the Plateau State Command who expressed shock that the Nigeria Army Sector 2 recently gave them the building to occupy it as their temporary office due to rising cases of insecurity bedeviling the state capital.

He explained that the sector 2 commander on the reports of challenges of raping, kidnapping, and theft which is causing sleepless nights to Jenta Adamu, Kabong ,Tudun Wada communities released the building which they command embark on renovation of the edifice to help curb the menace.

According to him, this morning when they were on finishing touching on the renovation of the offices some people came here and threaten to demolish the building and they have put beacon pegs in all the land as the original owners.

Zimmak said, “I assure you that by the time this office is completed, we shall reduce the problem of insecurity bedeviling Plateau state and it environs drastically whenever the renovation of the state office is done.

He said that the Nigerian military foiled the attempt by the family to demolish the building of the rugby’s club land hijack by family “.

” You would recall that the said landed property was sold to a private firm that constructed buildings upstairs and was demolished completely and taken over by the government but now the same family is parading as ownership of the land “.
