Member Representing Wukari/Ibi Federal Constituency Commends T Y Danjuma For His Contributions To Development In Nigeria

The member representing Wukari /Ibi Federal constituency in Taraba state, Hon. Danjuma Usman Shiddi has commended the former Chief of defense minister ,Theophilu Yakubu Danjuma for his contributions to the development of Nigeria.
Lt General T Y Danjuma was honoured with honorary doctorate degree by the Senate of University of Jos on Saturday at JT Useni stadium for his positive contributions to the growth of humanity.
Hon Shiddi described Danjuma as a great philanthropist whose contributions was recognized by the Senate of the University of Jos, stressing that the former minister has left his footprints towards sacrifice for progress and development of Nigeria today.
He noted that the contributions of General Danjuma had brought the people of Kwararafa kingdom honour; he expressed happiness with the record of achievements from University of Jos.
According to him, Taraba state is now experiencing relatives peace but expresses sadness that some groups of miscreants are taken advantage of the fragile return of peace and used that opportunity in attacking villages as well as foment troubles.
Hon. shiddi lamented that the crisis in Taraba state is more political than the religion colouration been painted to the general public to get sympathy from them.
The member charged the politicians to forget their political differences and cooperate with one another in order to work collectively towards the development and progress of Taraba state people.
He added that time has come for Taraba people to unite ,we want politicians in the state reunite again by forming the culture of togetherness at all cost ,adding that the way and manner politicians are handling the affairs of the state was not favourable to the state to move forward.
Shiddi explained that, he was happy with the current situation where each Kwararafa family home and diaspora gathered here to support their icon TY Danjuma.
He commended the University for the Remarkable Achievements in building love and understanding among Nigerians.
Also speaking ,the management Chairman of Langtang north, Hon Dan Dul describes general TY Danjuma as a great leader whose contributions would seen before the sands of time, we have witness his contribution in the military now humanity.
He decried that after 40 years of being at the temporary site and without any grant as he said that the Senate of the university of Jos worked to hard build the permanent site to ease the plight of students killed when crisis broke up in the town.
