Media Team Of Lalong’s Campaign Urges Citizens To Eschew Acrimony

The Media team for the Gubernatorial Campaign of the Plateau All Progressives Congress, APC, has urged Plateau citizens to eschew violence and mongering while going about with their electioneering campaign across the 17 Local Government Areas of Plateau state.

In a press briefing at the NUJ, Plateau state council ahead of the Friday campaign in central zone, the media head of the campaign Mr. Jonathan Ishaku Isolicited the cooperation of the party faithful to conduct themselves in a manner that they might not cause crisis.

He said the campaign council which has under it eight directorates charge with the responsibility of ensuring that the APC party clinch all the election from the position of the president ,National Assembly ,gubernatorial and state house of Assembly elections which will come up on the 16th February, 2019 and Match ,2019 respectively.

“We have come here this afternoon to seek your support as partners in these crucial elections .Let it be said without equivocation that Governor Simon Lalong has high regards and consideration for the media who have projected the activities of Governor Simon Lalong”.

Ishaku commended the media fke the balance reportage during the presidential flag off a few weeks ago .We enjoin you to continue in this spirit as the success of the APC in the second bid can’t be complete without you.

He appealed to the generality of Plateau people and all political parties to eschew acrimony and hate mongering as we commence the next stages of electioneering campaign.

Jonathan Ishaku tasked the supporters to go in line with the characters of the candidates to be peaceful and calm at all times .
