Emeka Nwajiuba, the Secretary to the Government of Imo State, Chief Cosmas Iwu, the Federal House of Rep member that represents Okigwe North, Hon. Emeka Nduka, the IMC Transition Committee Chairmen of Isiala Mbano and Ehime Mbano LGA’s and other appointees of the Shared Prosperity Government of  Governor Hope Uzodimma to rise the occasion.

According to the Mbano Journalists Association Chairman, while speaking frowned what he described as unfortunate at the inability of leaders to speak out.

“Keeping silence in the present ugly and wicked happenings in Mbano nation must stop”, Amb. Uzomah warned.

According to MBA leadership,  “The leaders of Mbano nation should rise up and find a means of protecting the lives of beloved people of Mbano nation”.

“We are tired hearing the killings and shootings going on in the two Local Government Areas of Mbano nation and want our leaders to urgently rescue the situation”.

The group further stated that the so-called leaders in the Mbano nation are not doing enough to justify the collective mandate of the people.

“All we saying is that our leaders should ensure the safety of lives and properties of our people which are parts of the electoral promises they made to our people before we gave them the mandate you’re enjoying today”.

They equally called on the Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma to engage the unknown gunmen to find lasting peace in Imo state.

They told the Imo State Governor that a united Imo is better than a destroyed Imo, saying that Gov.Uzodimma has the capacity to restore peace back to the state.
