Mass defection of APC, APGA members in Plateau looms as the Senator Ahmed Makarfi led PDP has received decampees in Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau state with warning to the APC Government to prepare to vacate the Little Rayfield.

While addressing the PDP decampees, Senator Representing Plateau North, Sen. Jonah David Jang has assured PDP supporters in Plateau state that there will be no imposition of candidates in the forthcoming election as he said people’s choice must be respected.

The drama which lasted several hours caused traffic hold up to the PDP rally that witnessed a large turnout of PDP supporters at the land field reception venue.

“I want to assure the electorates that the lingering crisis will soon be a thing of the past as the problems of PDP at the national will soon be over our people, you can aspire for any office without godfather in politics.

Sen Jang urged supporters of the People Democratic Party (PDP) and his loyalists not to lose focus but remain resilient that the party will soon issue out matching orders to the All Progressive Congress APC to vacate the little Rayfield ahead 2019 general election.

He said PDP is reorganizing their members to overthrown the APC government, “we will do anything to make PDP a single party in Plateau state.

The guest speaker and University don, Professor Gyang Dung Sha of the political science department disclosed that lack of political education has been the major problem of PDP failure in the last general elections.

“We need people who can work as resource person in PDP who can feed the party will relevant information that will bring robust media strategy of building confidence in people.

According to him ,PDP has gone  sleeping and snoring  thinking that all is well ,they must design plan to achieve the 2019 ,adding the 2915 defeat has thrown PDP into lamentation instance of focusing on the area of failure .

Sha charge them never to lose sight but all they need now is constant touch with the people at the grassroots so as to effect change by engaging government on critical areas by examining and discussion around it.

He described the poor relationship between the PDP,Labour Union  and the media, NGO as disastrous which continue to create wider gap in the state.

Prof Sha revealed that if PDP are prepare to win the 2019 election they need to be more united today which will mark the beginning of the joining to achieve meaningful development.

Amb Chris Giwa said he was not joining the PDP to fight or force himself for elective position but add value to development of democracy in Nigeria.
