The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) is soliciting financial assistance for aspirants contesting for the ticket ahead of the 2024 Plateau State Local Government Councils Election across the 17 Councils.
Speaking on behalf of the aspirants, Comr. Timlok Fyenda NNPP Senatorial candidate Plateau south in THE 2023 election at a conference held in Jos said, the aspirants underwent evaluations on their academic records, eligibility, membership and voter cards, and passport but they have serious constraints to provide them with financial assistance especially now that most of them are facing challenges of electioneering campaign ahead of 9th October, 2024.
Comr.Timlok disclosed that the party is willing to take over Plateau State while addressing journalists after interfacing with the aspirants
He emphasized the party’s interest in producing the next Chairmen of the 17 LGAs and bringing the exemplary governance witnessed in Kano State to their region.
Comr.Timlok Fyenda Esq said: “The state Chapter has undergone screening of eligible aspirants of the party on their expression of interest from the academic records credentials, so the NNPP didn’t have the financial muzzle to do anything except with the support of the national body.
“The party membership and voter card, their passport photographs, some of them even have a waiver, your membership dues payment, and any other additional information, that is the checklist. We’re here to request.
“We will be very much interested in whoever becomes our candidate. Our interest is that we should produce by the grace of God the next Chairmen in the state. “And the kind of governance example we are learning in Kano state will also move to Plateau state by the end of their tenure.”
He highlighted his presence in the community and his previous experiences in handling security matters within the state.
I am sure there are competent people in NNPP who can win the election with landslide victory if the exercise is conducted freely and fairly and I am sure that their goal will be achieved, “I’m here, to drive them with passion, drive-by Sincerity, honesty and openness.
