Local Breweries Commences Sanitary Inspections In Jos Metropolis.

BurukutuAn organized body responsible for ensuring sanitary conditions at local breweries, popularly called “Burukutu” in plateau state have cautioned members of the Association unruly behaviours towards customer.

The Plateau State chapter of the association has on Friday embarked on supervision of brewing centres within the Jos Metropolis.

Speaking with our correspondent after supervising the sanitary conditions, within Hwoshe, Tudun Wada, Gada Biu Kabong and one of most patronized joint for Police in Jenta Adamu, known as Kantin-Bello, the lead officers told reporters that the association discourages sellers from applying cortex on their nails while selling.

Speaking separately, ASP, Esther Haruna, an officer in charge of Abuja Station, in Tudun Wada, Jos, DSP Jumai Nuhu and the Director of Youth, who simply identify himself as, Sarkin Samali said there effort is to disabuse the notion of some minds that local brews are done in an unhealthy environment.

“We have been going round to ensure that sellers are always neat and operate according to our conducts.

“We warn them against painting their lips while selling nor wear trousers but should wear their uniforms and ensure the put on their head tie before they commence sell. And must provide enough covers for all customers.

“We also advised customers to report to the station officers should they find slightly in the conduct of sellers.
