Late Deaconess Jemima’s Burial: Okorocha, Ihedioha, Onyeagucha, Iwuala, Obi Cubana, Others Condole Ugwumba Nwosu

On Wednesday Dec.22nd 2021, it was indeed a day of sober reflection to the mourning and bereaved family but excitement galores in the eyes of thousands of Nigerians and Imo people who visited Eziama Obire in Nkwerre LGA of Imo State for the burial ceremony of late Deaconess Jemima Adaeze Nwosu.

Late Deaconess Jemima until her demise was the beloved mother of the 2019 Imo AA Guber Candidate, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, who hails from Eziama Obire Community in Nkwerre LGA of Imo State.

The burial ceremony of the virtues woman, late Nwosu, who died at the age of 78 years, witnessed the creame de la creame from all walks of lives.

At the ceremony, Rt.Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, of Imo PDP, the 2019 Guber Candidate was at Eziama Obire Community in Nkwerre LGA of Imo State, where he condoled Chief Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, whose mother, Ezinne Jemaimah was laid to rest.

Upon arrival, Chief Ihedioha was received with spontaneous wild ovation and cheers from Imolites at the burial ceremony.

Those on the entourage of Chief Ihedioha was the former Secretary to the Government of Imo State, Hon.Barr. Uche Onyeagucha, and other respected members of Imo PDP.

Some cross section of sympathizers at the funeral described the presence of Imo PDP, Imo APGA, and some other leaders of political parties in the state at the funeral as a rare strength of character and goodwill of a compassionate leader with milk of kindness and love.

While praying for the peaceful repose of her gentle soul, Hon. Ihedioha enjoined the Nwosu family and indeed the Eziama Obire community to bear the painful loss with fortitude.

Amongst many other highly notable personalities who graced the burial ceremony are the leaders of Imo APGA ably led by the Imo APGA Party State Chairman, Hon.John Iwuala, alongside with some of the executive members of their party.

Other respected dignitaries at the ceremony includes: The Oba-Anambra- Born-Young Billionaire Business Merchant, Mr.Obinna Aguiyi, aka Obi Cubana, with some of his business allies known as the Young Chief Executive Officers of various conglomerates.

Their expressions extended condolences to the mourning family of Nwosu over the death of their beloved mother, even as they prayed God to accept the soul of the deceased into the right hand of God.

Meanwhile, the event also witnessed some lawmakers from the state which includes: Hon.Engr.Kingsley Chima Uju, Federal House Member representing Ohaji,Egbema,Oguta and Oru-West  Constituency, and Rt.Hon.Ugonna Ozuruigbo, Federal House Member representing Isu, Njaba, Nwangele and Nkwerre.

Other legislators in attendance includes: The Imo State House of Assembly Member representing Ideato North, Hon.Arthur Egim, the IMHA Representing Ideato South, Hon.Johnson Iheonukara aka Pajay, and his colleague, Hon.Micheal Crown Onyemaechi, representing Ihitte-Uboma State Constituency.

Speaking in his sober reflection, Hon.Kingsley Uju, (Omeudo) expressed worry over the death of late Deaconess Jemima, who he described as a kind woman with the fear of God when she was alive.

“Now I have remembered when we usually visit her in Eziama Obire with Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, and she must ensure that we eat and drink before leaving to our destinations. She was a preacher of love, follower of peace and a rare gem. Indeed, she was a deaconess always harp on the salvation of mankind. I will always put her in prayers. We shall see again at rapture”, Omeudo Uju submitted.

Note that the former Imo State Governor,  Sen.Rochas Okorocha, and his immediate family members were also amongst the bereaved as paramount in-laws to the tribe of Ugwumba Uche Nwosu.
