Langtang South re-run PDP replaced Prince Vincent with Lohfa Bako

The Plateau State House of Assembly re-run in  Langtang South local Government Area  ,People Democratic Party (PDP) has concluded arrangement to replace Prince Vincent Venmak with Hon Lohfa Bako who came  second in the primaries

.The Ag Chairman of PDP, Hon Raymond Dabo disclosed this to journalists in an interview at the Party secretariat on Thursday 18th Feb, 2016.

He said, the party has gone to court after the announcement by INEC and obtained an injunction to stop conduct of the election pending the outcome of the suit which was granted.

Dabo advised PDP   supporters to remain calm and vote for Hon.Lohfa Bako in the forthcoming re-run so as to deliver people internal democracy.

He explained further that the chairmanship race, PDP is ready to allow everybody to express him or herself during the poll and test their popularity.

He reminded that PDP set up committee to investigate persons who have involved in anti-party activities but Hon Bitrus Kaze name was not mentioned neither any candidate so far among the contestants in Plateau state.

According to him,” we cannot act on hear say, Dabo stresses that his tenure expires in March and somebody will have to take over the seat”.

On the recent appointment of the former governor who double as one senator ,Modu sheriff’s as the acting national chairman the NWC,NEC,BOT accepted his candidature but with few reservations among members which lasted for several hours, then went into voting with three people contesting ,Alh Modu Sheriff’s emerged as the winner with overwhelming votes.

Dabo condemned the exclusion of PDP in the rerun of 20th February, 2016 which was described as mire allegation to cause problem and disenfranchised their supporters.
