Lamido Awards 11 Kilometer Road Contract To Dantata At The Cost Of N6.4billion By Umar Faruq Usman Dutse
The Jigawa State Executive council has approved the sum of 6.64 billion Naira for the dualization of Fanisau to Unity Roundabout Roundabout near the government house in Dutse the state capital.
This was disclosed to newsmen by the Commissioner For Information, Youth, Sport and Culture Alhaji Babandi Ibrahim, while briefing news men at government house shortly after the council meeting yesterday.
He said the Dualization contract of Fanisau road which is a 11km distance was awarded to Dantata and Sawoe Nigeria limited by the agreement to complete within a period of Eight months and is one of the most costliest contractual the present administration ever did in the state.
The commissioner maintained that, the executive council also approved AG Consultancy company to take care of consultation on the project.
According to him,the state government decided to dualize the road as the only main road that remains single in the capital city of the state.
Babandi also stated during the meeting that the council also approved the award of the contract for the putting of furnitures in both administrative and academic blocks at the Jigawa state University Kafin Hausa.
He said, the contract was awarded to Interior Wood Works Nigeria Ltd, at a total cost of over N105.9 million expected to be completed before the matriculation of pioneer students in University.
