Yakubu Busari

The Plateau State government has received with great shock the news of the abduction of Sheikh  Abdulazeez Yusuf, Administrative Secretary, Jama’atu Nasril Islam (JNI), and Leader, Nurudeen Society of Nigeria,  around Saminaka,  Kaduna State.

The governor condemned this evil act to say the least, is most condemnable in the history of human existence .

The Executive Governor of Plateau State,  the Rt. Hon. Barr.  Simon Bako Lalong, on behalf of himself,  family and the entire people of Plateau State, hereby condemns this act in  its entirety.

The governor made this known by the office of Dan Manjang,  Special Adviser, Media and Publicity, Plateau State.

The governor would like to use this medium to sympathize with the Muslim Umah and the Nurudeen Society in this travail.

He has therefore called for calm as a machinery has been put in place in conjunction with the Kaduna State government to ensure that Sheikh Abdulazeez Yusuf is not only released in good health but unconditionally, and in the shortest possible time.

He warned that government will not take it kindly with criminals who take the law in their hands adding that the full weight of the law will be placed on hood looms in the  state.
