The Contractor handling the ongoing road project between the Lagos West Constituent has accused the contractor of breach of contract agreement reached with Sen.Adeola olamilekan Solomon of road linking ‘ YAYI’ .
The contract awarded to Farm Access to BIDMUSDUHILL Nigeria limited contractor’s in Lagos State has suffered setback which was to linking communities in Lagos including the drainage in Gwata community.
The road project is about 900 square meter project with a single drainage system located at Gwata water passage that was neglected and abandon since the award of the contract .
However, the senator , explained further that knowing fully well how Alimosho Local government area experience flooding and erosions during the rainy season ,we caution Lagosian against dumping of refuges on waterways .
He disclosed that the challenged of constructing drainage system was what prompted him to mostly focus on buildings drainage in the senatorial zone .
The Senator explained that the major problems of Lagos State in General is how to control the waterways and managed water passage in Gwata community .
Sen.Adeola olamilekan Solomon expressed displeasure with the contractor handling the ongoing road project for a abandoning of the contract in spite of the payment .
He blamed the contractor for sub-substandard work saying the equipment used are of substandard work of sand filling the road construction at
night which is aimed at creation tension and sleepless night by causing serious of commotion .
He said the project Farm Access continued to attract a lot of concern interest since their is no farm Located around the city or locality within the area
The Senator reiterated that with the challenge of the farm access city is Located behind Airforce base fence, in Egbeda Alimosho Lagos Nigeria there is no single drainage system .
We are calling on the attention of the senator to please look into the issue at hand and embark on project that touch the lives of the area before its too late to make amends on this matters with the necessary adjustment or Action .
The electorate and people of Alimosho appreciate his good will, and gesture towards growth and development in making sure we have good access roads ,he noted.
But there is a saying that what is worth doing for the people especially the masses is worth doing very well ….
Please we the people of Egbeda Ajibola Adaramoye close Dotun Adewale are not happy with this act of single drainage system and the contractor is no not helping the matter.
We are calling on the Federal Government, senators representing the zone to address the issues before it’s too late as the people are decrying of underdevelopment.
