Kwankwasiyya Organization Flashes Scholarship To 20 Plateau Youths

Twenty Plateau State Youths have received the Kwankwasiyya Movement, scholarship award including skill acquisition training  as part of his  drive to give hope to less the privileged youths in the society.

State Chairman of the movement, Comrade John Mandim Tokji who gave out the scholarship  disclosed that the what prompted the ideas of empowerment was to ensure that poverty is reduce to its barest minimum , speaking further to Journalists in Jos, the State Capital.

He said, “our mandate as a movement is to give to the hopeless hope and also support the government of the day. The movement, with its headquarters in Kano, has been embarking on scholarship scheme not only in Kano, but in Plateau State.

So, it’s in this light that we have embarked upon this scholarship scheme in the State. This is not the first time we are doing it, it has been a continuous thing. Last week, we gave scholarship to four students of University of Jos, two at the Federal College of Education Pankshin, ten O-levels students into skill acquisitions with a number of some in automobile and electrical training,” Chairman highlighted.

This, he said, was coming out from their widow’s mite and monthly contributions among members and it has been successful, calling on well-meaning Nigerians to join Kwankwasia movement for the development of Plateau and Nigeria as a whole.

Comrade Tokji, commended Governor Simon Bako Lalong, for the support given to Kwankwasiyya movement in the state and promised to complement on the existing synergy between them. He revealed that, the state meeting of the movement would be held in Shendam LGA at weekend.
