Kidnappers Abducted Special Adviser On Media To Nasarawa State Chief Judge, 2 Others

The Special Adviser to the Chief Judge of Nasarawa State, Enoch Ali Maku, was reported to have been abducted by people identified to be kidnappers who stormed the Unity hotel situated at Agyaragu community of Lafia Local Government.

It was reliably gathered that he was picked up alongside his brother yesterday evening at about 8 pm, the gunmen invaded and go away with Ali Maku, the former secretary of Agyaragu Unity Forum with his younger brother Mr Danladi Ali Maku, and a security man at the Unity Hotel.

This incident, according to eyewitnesses, left the people in limbo as the demanded swift response from the authorities on their safety.

“We have repeatedly appealed to the state Government through various social media platforms to enhance security measures in our community, but unfortunately, our pleas have fallen on deaf ears.

Lack of response has emboldened these kidnappers, and we fear for the safety of our community members.”

“In light of this recent incident, we humbly appeal to the State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi  Sule, to take immediate and decisive action to ensure the safety of our community”.

Urging the State Government to consider deploying military personnel to Agyaragu to deter further kidnapping activities and protect our residents.

Agyaragu is a large and vibrant community that deserves better security protection. We are not asking for special treatment, but we believe that every citizen has the right to live without fear of kidnapping or violence. We implore the Government to take our plea seriously and act promptly.

We also appeal for the safe release of Mr Enoch Ali Maku, Mr Danladi Ali Maku, and the security man. We pray for their swift return to their families and loved ones.

On behalf of  Agyaragu community, I reiterate our plea to the State Government to prioritize our safety and security. We are willing to collaborate with the Government to ensure that our community is protected from these kidnappers.

On behalf of the Agyaragu community, I am compelled to bring to the attention of the Nasarawa State Government a pressing concern that demands immediate action. The frequent kidnapping activities in our community have reached an alarming level, and we are deeply worried about the safety of our residents.

In a related development, kidnappers invaded off-campus students of the Federal University of Lafia. the Nasarawa State Police Command Public Relations Officer, DSP. Ramhan Nansel declinedto comment.
