The Former Minister of Sports and Chairman of the People Democratic Party PDP in Plateau State Hon. Damishi have been released from his abductors.
Information available to this medium indicates that Sango, who was abducted two days to the PDP National convention, has regained his freedom.
It would be recalled that, the Minister of Sports Hon Sango who was abducted by gunmen along Abuja-Jos Road alongside four (4) others, on their way to attend the PDP National convention, regained their freedom at about 8pm Sunday evening, a day after the PDP National convention”.
The State Publicity Secretary of the PDP Plateau State Mr John Akans who confirmed the incident through a telephone call, said the PDP chairman is free, healthy and cooling off in his Abuja residence.
There was however, no news on how much was paid to the abductors for the former minister of sports and who made the payment.
