Kano State Police destroys 27,341 Cartons of Hard Drugs Worth N31.8 billion

The Kano State Police Command has burnt  27,341 cartons of hard drugs Worth N31.8 billion.

Speaking at Farawa village before setting up the fire the Kano State Police Commissioner Muhammad Musa Katsina Stated that cocaine, heroin, tramadol, refanol and codine are about 8,974 cartons.

While the wraps of Indian Hemp were 2,818 in number, including 3,134 of compressed Llizards feces.

The Police also said that 11,399 were compressed wraps of Spyrogyra solution and 1,259 cartons of rubber solution, all of the items with a market value of 31.8 billion Naira.

Already 361 hard drug traffickers were arrested and charged to court within the period of three months.

Mr. Katsina also stated that all of this hectic work was successful due to the cooperation from the good people of Kano state and the state government who provided Vehicles and all the logistics for the work.

Earlier the Kano State Governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje thanked the Commissioner who was promoted to the rank of AIG for the Good job he has done during his stay in Kano state as police commissioner and pray that he may have Almighty’s guidance where ever he finds himself.
