His Excellency Gov. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano State has approved the appointment of a new Board/Management of Kano Pillars Football Club with immediate effect.
In a statement signed by the Director General, Media and Communications to the Governor Baba Halilu Dantiye said the new Board/Management has Alhaji Kabiru Baita as Chairman with the following as members: Alhaji Abba Dambazau, Alhaji Naziru Aminu Wapa, Alhaji Garba Mohammed (Nawamba) and Alhaji Hassan Abdullahi Garo while Representative of Kano State Sports Council will serve as Secretary.
The statement further added that the government has thanked the board and management for the services they rendered to the club.
By this statement both the General Manager and the Technical Adviser have also been relieved of appointments.
