The Kano Electricity Distribution Company has donated palliatives worth millions of naira to the Jigawa State government to assist people in the face of COVID- 19 pandemic in the State.
The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, Malam Jamilu Isyaku Gwamna handed over the items to the Jigawa State Governor Alhaji Badaru Abubakar at the Jigawa government house in Dutse today.
While giving the items, Malam Jamilu said the materials include 1000 Bags of 10Kg Rice, 1000 gallons of four liters of groundnut oil and a draft cheque of two million naira to the state government.
In the area of power supply to the state ,the managing director of the company further stated that start will be begin to experience constant power supply to ensure that the people enjoyed staying at home.
“We have also taken measures to ensure that we protect our staff and costumers by complying with all health directives ,“he stated.
