A new Governing Council has been appointed for the Kaduna State University, KASU. A statement signed by Samuel Aruwan, spokesman to Malam Nasir El-Rufai, announced that the new council is chaired by Professor Shehu Usman Abdullahi. Twelve other persons were appointed to the KASU Council, eight of them by virtue of their offices within the university system or the public service such as the Vice-Chancellor.
