Kabiru Garba Dumps DPP To ADC, Ready To Battle For Ex-Deputy Speaker Ibrahim Baba-Hassan At The Polls

A stalwart of the Democratic People Party, DPP, Hon Abubakar Kabiru Garba has dumped the party to join the African Democratic Congress, ADC, last Saturday with his supporters in Jos North-North constituency to battle for the position of Former Deputy Speaker, Rt Hon Ibrahim Baba-Hassan as promised loyalty to the new party.

He explained the reasons for his defection is due to that lack of transparency in the affairs of DPP and lack of party structure which prompted him to defect to one of the most popular political party to avoid political graveyard.

He pointed out that what attracted him to join the ADC family is because they have vibrant program for the youth that can enable him sell his candidature and also the political ideology.

According to him, about 1580 students have benefited from Hon his Skills acquisition /empowerment programme in Jos North, North Constituency of Plateau State.

Hon .Garba in an interview with our correspondent in Jos North, Local Government Area last Sunday disclosed that he will focus on skill acquisition projects with the aim of reducing poverty among the growing population of youths in the State.

Hon Abubakar Garba who is eyeing the Jos North, North constituency in the 9th Assembly of the Plateau State House of Assembly with his promised to deliver dividends of democracy.

He stressed that his slogan to the electorates is to ensure he promote the tenet of democracy and remain committed to the plight of vulnerable people in the society especially people living with disability.

Garba noted that if given the mandate he will lobby for women, youth and to also introduce health care delivery program for pregnant women and internally Displaced Persons in Jos north who are affected by natural or man-made disaster.

He promised to partner with NGOs, if given the mandate he can bring in motion on peaceful coexistence among the Muslim and Christian communities were they would be unity with other ethnic nationality living in Jos North LGA.

Garba lauded the federal government rebuilding program as he has provide scholarship to 80 students, I promise to serve with my sincere hearts

The following wards in Jos North that benefited include Ibrahim Kasina ward, 1000, students, Abba Nashehu 200 students, Ali Kazaure 150 students and Naraguta B 500, Jenta Apata 200, Jos Jarawa 200 and when given the mandate more women and youth will enjoy.
