Jubilation/Rally In Lafia By Nigeria Peace Corps

It was a fanfare galore in Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital as men and women of the Peace Corps joined their colleagues in celebrating the passage of the law establishing Nigerian Peace. Corps Act.

The Nasarawa State commandant, Bala Joshua commended national Assembly for the passage of the Act, saying the Peace Corps has no any affliction with Mercy Corps of Nigeria.

Bala Joshua said the Peace Corps of would work assiduously to unite the society by effecting changes not destruction of the society.

He however buttressed that the struggle which started in 1991 is not an exercise in futility calling on other sisters’ agency to synergies with Peace Corps.

The commandant appreciated the support accorded them by the Nigeria Union of Journalists during the days of struggle.

Men and women of the Peace Corps during the rally chant the songs of solidarity of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.
