Jos North LGA Rejoices With Nigerians On The Occasion Of Democracy Day Celebration

The Executive Chairman of Jos North Local Government Council, Shehu Bala Usman is congratulating Nigerians as the nation marks Democracy Day celebration by employing leaders to promote the tenets of democracy and good governance at all levels of development.

Executive Chairman, Jos Noth Local Government Council in a press statement made available to this medium in Jos to mark June 12 democracy day ^h, says Usman rejoices with our amiable President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Plateau Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, Speaker, Plateau State House of Assembly, Chief Judge of Plateau, Hon. David Mann and other democratically elected representatives of the people on this auspicious occasion.

The Chairman noted that the sacrifices of our heroes past who fought for the enthronement of enduring and lasting democracy in Nigeria, will not go in vain as their footprint in the sands of time shall always be remembered.

He expressed optimism that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu who is a true democrat after fighting for the emergence of democratic rule in Nigeria, will continue to uphold its tenets to ensure the overall development of the country.

The Jos North Council Chairman urged the people to continue to work hard in order to sustain democracy in Nigeria, stressing that it is the only system of government where the rights and privileges are fully guaranteed.

Usman used the medium to appeal to Nigerians to support the Tinubu-led administration to ensure the smooth provision of dividends of democracy which the All Progressives Congress APC government has vowed to provide.
