Jos North Council Boss Commissions Motorized Borehole; Inspects Jenta Adamu, Kwararafa  Road Projects

The Executive Chairman of Jos North Local Government Council, Shehu Bala Usman has inaugurated three motorized Boreholes in Rikkos, Jos Jarawa, and the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, Academy, Katon Rikkos.

The Chairman equally Supervised ongoing construction of road networks in Jenta Adamu ward and kwararafa linking new market and the Legislative Arm of the Local Government.

Philip Eplong the Media Aide to the Executive Chairman, Jos North Local Government Area stated this in a press statement made available in Jos .

The Council Chairman who continued the commissioning and the inspection of ongoing projects on Thursday alongside members of the Legislative, Executive Arms as well as party faithful, said his administration has achieved in all areas of human endeavor.

The Chairman commissions over 5000 Primary School Education desks and handed it to the Supervisory Councilor of Education for onward distribution to various schools within the locality.

Usman said education is one of the policy thrust of his administration hence the need to provide conducive learning atmosphere for pupils.

The Council boss also inaugurated a motorized borehole in Ungwan Damisa in Rikkos of Lamingo ward and that of Jos Jarawa where the respective communities expressed appreciation for the gesture.

The Chairman was also at the Headquarters NDLEA where he was received by the state commander, Mustapha Yahuza  where he commissions the project in company of the state commander and other principal officials of the Agency.

Usman said the project sited at the NDLEA Headquarters is in appreciation of the partnership entered between the Local Government Council and the Agency, especially in minimizing drugs and substance abuse in the locality.

The state commander of the Agency Mustapha Yahuza said drugs is the common denominator of crimes noting that Jos North Local Government under  Shehu Bala Usman has done well in partnering with the relevant security agency to ensure Jos  North become a crime free society.

He extended the gratitude of the Chairman of the Agency, Brigadier General Buba Marwa.

The Chairman later inspected ongoing road construction at Kwararafa linking to new market and  Jenta Adamu road where he intimated the contractor to speed up efforts on the projects to ensure commuters pligh the road within the shortest possible time.

He thereafter inspected the ongoing remodeling of the Legislative Arm of Jos North Local Government Council where he expressed satisfaction with the level of work.

The contractor handling Jenta Adamu road and of kwararafa, Benjamin Dung assured the Chairman of his commitment to complete the road  project within a week.

As at the time of filling in this report, various communities leaders, Youth and Women organizations expressed gratitude to the Chairman for citing projects that would benefit humanity in their domain
