Jos East Mgt. Committee Chairman killed in Nasarawa state

A Top politician who battled to install APC government in Jos East, Hon Hosea Azi   have been  killed along with four  of the  adopters  in a ghastly motor accident around Keffi in Nasarawa state even as their car was  damaged beyond repairs .

The body of the management committee Chairman of Jos East Local Government Council, Hon Hosea Azi has been recovered with that of the kidnappers in Keffi Nasarawa state.

The late Hosea Azi who was kidnapped in Jos South  LGA at his residence  after leaving office  by unknown gunmen who  abandoned the chairman car  at Rantya state low cost.

Our source revealed that Chairman was appointed and sworn-in on Friday by Governor Simon Lalong for his contributions toward the victory of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Plateau state.

The men of operation safe heaven, spokesman Capt IKEDICHI IWEHA yesterday advice residents of Plateau state to be careful and maintain vigilant of security threat in the state.

The appointment came as a result of security reports leading to replacement of the former management committee who was sworn as the Management Committee Chairman of Jos East, to replace Hon Sanda Agwom to demonstrate continuous respect for the yearning of the people in line with the People centered approach to Governance.

Hon. Hosea Azi was found worthy to fill in the gap of Management Committee Chairman for Jos-East Local Government Council. A family member said the deceased body have been deposited at Plateau specialist hospital at about 10am in Jos .

The Plateau state Police command confirmed the incident to journalists in a telephone interview.

DSP Abuh Emmanuel said the body of late management committee was this morning discovered in Nasarawa state and his car was still park around state Low-cost.

He advised the general public to be careful and report any suspected movement to the nearest station for quick rescue.
