The Director General , National Institute for Policy and strategic studies,NIPSS, Kuru Professor Tijani Mohammed Bande has said,President Goodluck Jonathan tasked the senior executive course 36 to work on a module that will improve 2015 general elections .
Briefing Journalists yesterday at the conference hall on the development ,Prof Mohammed Bande said out of the 65 graduants one out of the course 36 died of protracted illness last year.
Professor Bande said Nigeria is ready to conduct violence free elections with the support of stakeholders in the country,
Speaking on the 65 members of senior executive course 36 regular intake of the institute.
He stated that ahead of senior executive 37, President Goodluck Jonathan has approved focal area on how to reposition the country educational system for global competitiveness with the partnership of the institute for better service delivery.
He said,the course 36 members were trained to interact on key issues affecting the development of various sectors of economy within and other African countries on the need to develop a culture of performance that can help in shaping skills and attitudes which is very important aspect of our life .
Bond emphasized on the patriotism of Nigerians to ensure that the country compete with other nations of the world in promoting industrial harmony and industrial relations.
The NIPSS boss stressed that the senior executive course 36 were trained in the area of security threat and how to address the challenges of violence free 2015 general elections.
Bande revealed that President Goodluck Jonathan order the senior executive course to give their very best on free, fair general elections, which is the major improvement been measured in the country.
He noted that 65 persons are graduating with certificates in industrial and labor productivity relations.
Speaking on industrial harmony ,Bande emphasized that the country have all the necessary elements require to partner with other international countries of the world to achieve better developed policy .
