Jingir Challenges Fulanis On Value Of Education, Good Moral By Yakubu Bulus, Jos

National Chairman Council of Ulama Jama’atu Izalatil Bid”ah Wa Ikamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS), Sheikh Sani Yahaya Jingir, has admonished Muslims particularly Fulanis, on the need for confidence building, proper education and good moral values.
Jingir said this during a one-day Seminar for the Fulani, held at the organization’s Science Secondary Jos, under the auspices of JIBWIS, National directorate of education, department of Fulani Njange Ndure (Study and rear).
The Council Chairman said  JIBWIS, deemed it necessary to create a special department for Njange Ndure, with the aim at reaching out to most herders across Nigeria.
“With the emergence of the department a lot of educational activities have been reached out to the Fulanis, a lot of Schools were also established under the department,” Sheikh Jingir said.
The cleric gave instance of a school cited at Mavo  Community in Wase Local Government Area of Plateau State, amongst some others. He pledged that the maiden edition of the seminar was to create deep awareness amongst the herders, stressed that it is important to do that for the fact that the country is faced with lot of security and social challenges.
“The Seminar is to also bring better understanding from the context of the Qur’an, on how best to rear your animals, and improved agricultural yields,” he added. Jingir further said the herders should get educated to become doctors, nurses and lawyers, Soldiers, Police, Immigrations, administrators and all fields of Governance.
“We should build hospitals, clinics, schools and other institutions,” he added.
Speaking at the event President Meyyity Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), Alhaji Ardo Kiruwa, said the seminar was indeed prompt and timely, more so that a lot of challenges are bound in the lives and affairs of the herders.
Kiruwa, stated that MACBAN, under his leadership is taken statistics of its members across Nigeria, and is “making assessment of schools for the herders.”
 He tasked the participants to be attentive and ensure proper utilization of what is to be learnt from the seminar, while appealing on to JIBWIS to further organize similar seminar to cover nation wide.
 In a paper presented by Sheikh Sa’idu Hassan Jingir, tagged: “Trust worthy and truthfulness,” he stressed that Muslims must uphold truthfulness.
 “Be obedience to parents, be truthful to all People in your doings, because it is the only values that can ensure you been trust worthy, among People,” he added.

 He emphasised that the Prophet of Islam Muhammad (SAW), has enjoined that aged parents (Father and Mother), must be treated with utmost care, both in their daily needs and other social ways.
