The Jigawa State House of Assembly has announced the death of its member, Honourable Adamu Babban Bare, the member representing Kafin-Hausa constituency in the state Assembly
Until his death, he was a one-time staff with the national population commission in the then Kano state, in 2015 he contested and won his seat as a lawmaker to represent the people of Kafin Hausa local government area at the state assembly.
The Chairman, House Committee on Information, Hon. Aminu Zakari Tsubut announced the death of the lawmaker, he said “the House received the news with great shock on the demise of one of their patriotic and selfless members in the person of Hon. Adamu Babban Bare member representing Kafin Hausa constituency.”
Zakari described the death of Babban Bare as a great loss to Jigawa state not only to his family and assembly members but also to the entire APC family and Nigeria in general.
Tsubut added that the deceased died at the age of 57 after a prolonged illness.
He has since been buried according to Islamic rite in his hometown Kafin-Hausa,
Hon. Babban Bare was elected as a member representing Kafin-Hausa in the State Assembly in the 2017 general elections. Before then he was a former secretary Kafin-Hausa local government.
Shortly after his death politicians from Kafin Hausa local government within the leading party and opposition parties have started indicating their interest to contest for the position, he left.
