Jigawa PDP Chairman Inaugurate 39 Member Reconciliation Committee

The chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP Jigawa State Chapter Alhaji Babandi Ibrahim Gumel has inaugurated a 39 members reconciliation committee headed by the former SSG Dr. Aminu Taura as the chairman of the committee.

Inaugurating the committee at the party’s headquarter in Dutse the Jigawa state capital, Babandi said since their election as party executives, that this their first assignment,  Babandi thanked the delegates who voted them into power.

The chairman promised to restore the party image in the state and assured the party of success in the 2023 general election.

He that the reconciliation committee whichever is easier currently established to restore the activities of the party.

He explained further that the committee is to contact the aggrieved members and other members who decamped to APC and other parties to bring them back to PDP to make the party strong and also to establish unity among the party members.

He promised to settle all the outstanding debt and salaries of party staff.

In his remarks, the former governor of Jigawa State Alhaji Sule Lamido who is also the leader of the party in the state charged members of the committee to unite themselves.

Lamido said the five years of APC administration in Nigeria is a calamity to Nigerians.

He stated that the APC Govt. created enemies among Nigerians as he hinted that five years of Buhari administration agitating for fighting where he said that the issue of Magu being involved in corrupt corruption is an example.
