Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa has approved the appointment of Furera Isma Jumare as the new Director-General of the Jigawa State Promotion Agency “INVEST JIGAWA”.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State, Alhaji Adamu Abdulkadir Fanini.
Furera Isma Jumare has thirty years’ experience in the fields of Agriculture and development at the Central Bank of Nigeria, as an independent consultant with ENABLE2 (DFID), worked with agencies such as Kano State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development and Jigawa State Investment Promotion Agency.
She is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Micro –Development Consulting Limited, leading its research, project management, and capacity development activities.
Jumare is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered), member Institute of Directors, a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants (IMC), and an Independent Director on the board of Union Bank of Nigeria Plc.
