The Senatorial candidate of Plateau north, Governor Jonah David Jang and His Royal Highness’s Da Jacob Gyang Buba permanent voters card, PVC, have been declared missing owning to non-availability of temporary card.
The state governor who filed a suit challenging the INEC on the use of temporary PVCs on the forthcoming election in the state lamented the poor distribution in PDP stronghold.
“You would recall that INEC, Resident Electoral commission Chairman Dr Godwin Kwanga has announced the extension of collections dateline across the state”.
The Gbong Gwom whom PVC is still missing expressed worry over inability of INEC to distribute the PVC within the time frame.
The Royal father also cautioned the citizens of the state exercise constrain not carry law into their hands.
The Leader Igbo cultural and welfare Association and onye dum ndi Igbo, His Royal Highness, Chief Samuel Acha, reiterated his concerns that many Igbo residents in Plateau may likely be disenfranchise in the March 28th 2015 general elections.
According to him, those eligible voters who are resident in state should be allowed to make use of the temporary cards.
He described as worrisome the development and called for urgent steps to ensure that people are issued with their cards as this ensures free and fair election.
Chief Acha also appealed to non-indigenes in the state especially Igbos not to   panic and should not contemplate leaving the state as is always been in the past.

He explained further ,” some people are yet to  collect their PVCS as this has become a source of concern to me ,especially in Jos south and north were even the state Governor is yet to collect his card”,
