The suspended factional Chairman of All Progressives Congress, APC, faction by his group, Hon Itse Ishaya has denied reports of his suspension from the party saying that they are entitled to their own opinion, “ because we all filed our separate suits in court and we are pursuing different agenda .”
Hon Ishaya stated this in a press release shortly after reading his alleged suspension from his APC factional group.
He said the report came from “those that we jointly signed documents to seek a court order, but, “I want to assure my readers, supporters and the good ardent democrats that I’m not fraudster” who is neither an executive of the APC at the local government nor at the state level.
“The party is not even aware of this impersonation making the rounds in the media,” he said.
“This is yet another round of character assassinations from career political antagonizers who are perpetually threatened by our advocacy for transparency in political leadership,” , he said
He said the report did not come to him as a surprise from his party and affirmed he had a cordial relationship with all of them .“We have been working hand in hand to actualise our agenda for a better Nigeria,” he added.
“As far as I’m concerned, we are not aware of any suspension as the member,” he said. “I only saw it on the news” he added.
The chapter of the party accused Mr. Itse Ishaya of anti-party activities and corruption for receiving bribes to sell them out to the highest bidder.
He said the party formed New Exco headed by Hon Rufus Bature as the state Chairman and to me, there is nothing wrong with that, so I don’t have a case to drag with him.
“Before taking this final decision, we met with them all with the aim of peaceful resolution, but they decided to twist the agreement and go their own way so they are entitled to their own opinion, but without any tangible talks and they went back.
The party accused the suspended member of factionalizing the party, creating new unconstitutional leadership, going against the government of Governor Simon Lalong consensus candidate.
