Is My Turn To Be The Next Chairman of Karu Local Government-Hon.Lawal Yakubu Karshi

The Chairmanship aspirant under the banner of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Lawal Yakubu Karshi says if elected as the next Council Chairman of Karu Local Government he would properly harness the Internally Generated Revenue of the Council.

 

He disclosed this while submitting his nomination and expression of interest forms to the party headquarter in Lafia.

 

Yakubu Karshi says the revenue of Karu alone would sustain the gateway to the Federal Capital Territory.

 

The immediate past Deputy Chairman to Hon Samuel Akala said this time around is his turn to run the affairs of Karu Local Government.

 

According to him” I resign as an Agric officer and venture into politics to salvage our people from the shackles of under development.

 

“I contested for three consecutive times, once with Honorable Samuel Akala but this time around I remain a contestant under the auspices of the ruling All Progressives Congress”.

 

He said if given the chance he would change the narrative in its entirety for the betterment of the gateway to the Federal Capital Territory

 

The Chairmanship aspirant averted that he would work hand in hand with Engineer Abdullahi Sule so as to add value to democracy.
