Interim Management Chairman of Doma Local Govt Warns Late Comers

The Interim Management Committee chairman of Doma Local Government, Hon. Rabo Sani has read riot act to civil servants in Doma Local Government to exhibit maturity by shunning lateness in the cause of discharging their duties.

Hon. Sani gave the disclosure during the inauguration of eleven supervisory councilors and appointment of overseer of Ekye Development Area at the council secretariat.

The IMC Chairman said his administration would not give a breathing space to workers coming to work late.

He also warned civil servants to shun leaving duty post before closing hours; saying workers must be in their duty post every day.

“Any civil servant that wants to leave office must seek for permission because leaving place of work is not allow under my reign, he insisted.

Hon. Rabo Sani commended the state governor, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura for finding them worthy for the appointment.

He also applauded the Nasarawa State House of Assembly for the support and successful screening exercise as well for given them the mandate to serve the people.

He called for co-operation from civil servants, stating that the co-operation of all and sundry would assist them in discharging their duties.

The inauguration witness the presence of the two members of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly representing Doma North, Hon.Mohammed Okpede (PDP) and Hon.James Akoza (APC) representing Doma South constituency

Others in attendance including the immediate past IMC Chairman Hon.John Ogah, immediate past elected chairman of the Council, Hon.Henry Omaku, immediate past commissioner Community and Rural Development, Hon.Mustapha Idris, former Head of Service, Thomas Ogiri and one time chairman, Ibrahim Ogiri including creme de la creme of politicians.
