Inspite Of Not Winning The Primary Election, Ex- Assembly Aspirant For  Lere/Bula Trains Youths, Women On Various Skills

Unperturbed by his inability to win in the last party primary election, the former house of assembly aspirant for Lere/Bula constituency of Bauchi state, Solomon B. Solomon has sponsored the training of youths and women in various skills to enable them to become self-employed.

Speaking during the graduation ceremony of the beneficiaries of the skills acquisition Programme, the All Progressives Congress (APC) chairman, Tafawa Balewa local government, Hon. Ladan Jambil described Solomon as an outstanding politician that made history.

Our Correspondent gathered that the youths and women were selected from different parts of the local government and trained in various skills.

The women and youths were trained in tailoring, cooking, computer operations, and electrical repairs.

Ladan Jambil pointed out that Solomon B. Solomon did not relent in his determination to improve the living standard of his people, especially the less privileged ones despite losing the state assembly primary election under the platform of the APC.

The APC chairman commended the relentless efforts of the former aspirant and equally wished him well in all his future endeavors.

In their separate remarks, Honourable Jafaru Gambo Leko, Bulus Iliya Buly, Comrade Ilyasu Zwall, Honourable Abdurrashid Adamu Muazu and honourable Musa Tanko all unanimous said Solomon B. Solomon has become a shining example among the contemporary politicians worthy of emulation.

Earlier in his remarks, Honourable Solomon B. Solomon said his ambition at all times is to assist the less privileged members of the society, particularly women and youths in order to stand on their feet.

He pointed out that it was not the first time he has been assisting women and youths and promised to continue to do so.

Hon Solomon called on the beneficiaries to use the items distributed to them properly.

Some of the beneficiaries of the training, Dorcas Ezekiel who was given a sewing machine and Ilyasu Idris who got a brand-new computer, expressed gratitude for the kind gesture and promised to utilize the items judiciously.
