When in July 2014 the Presidential committee on Victims Support Fund was established and inaugurated, with Lieutenant General TY Danjuma, RTD GCON as Chairman of the Fund, it quickly swung into action as it marshaled out and carried out plans to ameliorate victims of insurgency attacks.
So then from the time when it was established till when it was metamorphosed into Presidential Committee on the North-East Initiative , PCNI, alongside other organizations there has been so much activities of the fund.

Cash Assistance To Pregnant Women In Host Communities
391 pregnant women has received cash assistance aimed at meeting their basic ante and postnatal maternal care needs, these cash assistance was given to mostly pregnant women in overstretched host communities.
Distribution Of Donated Medical Equipment And Supplies
Donated medical equipment and supplies worth 2 million US Dollars has been distributed in states of Adamawa, Borno and Yobe to Primary Health Care Centers as well as to 40 Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs in partnership with the Gabasawa Women and Children Empowerment Initiative.
Support For The Development Of State Specific Health Sector
The fund has supported the development of State Specific Health Response to Humanitarian Crisis Annual Operational Plans for Five North-East States in Collaboration With Federal Ministry of Health.
Donation And Distribution Of Books Worth N2, 931, 000.00
In collaboration with Dorothy Welsh Foundation the Fund has donated and distributed books worth N2, 913,000.00 in Borno, Adamawa, Yobe and Edo State to enhance education.
Foster Facilitation and Kinship Care
There has been the facilitating of foster and kinship care placements by the fund for the 1000-orphaned Children in Borno, Adamawa and Yobe by December 2016 in partnership with seven Community Based Organizations, CBOs.
Economic Empowerment
The fund has economically empowered 6000 women victims of insurgency in Borno, Yobe and Adamawa States in partnership with eight Community Based Organizations, CBOs. The fund did this through livelihood and cash transfer programmes.
