Cross sections of Imo people under the platform of Concerned Imolites Forum took to the Street, last Wednesday, Feb.12th 2020,to re-record their grievances against the 14th Jan.2020 Supreme Court Judgment which nullified the election of Chief Hon.Emeka Ihedioha, and declared Sen.Hope Uzodinma as Imo State.
According to the protesters, “why did the S’Court declared the person who came 4th during the 2019 Imo Guber polls as the winner”?
The group who were led by their National Patron, Comr.Charles Oputa, aka Charly Boy, matched in a peaceful procession from the ancestral Ugwu Ekwema to Fire Service where they addressed a large majority of Imo populace who joined the solidarity match.
The group called on Supreme Court to take a second look at the 14th of January Judgment on Imo Guber and correct the errors, even as they requested same court to aside the verdict that declared Sen.Hope Uzodinma as Governor and restore the mandate given to Emeka Ihedioha by the people of Imo State on March 9th, 2019.
