Imo Gov.Tells People Of Owerri West: Your Shares In My Govt Is Lionshare, But I Will Do More

The Imo State Governor, Chief Emeka Nkem Ihedioha, on last Sat.Oct.20th 2019,at the Council Headwaters of Owerri West Umuguma, during his Local Govt. Inspection tour, told the people of Owerri West LGA of Imo State, that they have gotten the lion shares so far in his Rebuild Mission led administration.

 

He stated this at the council premises as he was received by the Interim Management Committee Chairman of Owerri West, Hon.Innocent Ekenma, his members of the committee, traditional rulers, youths and so many prominent leaders of the Local Govt.in attendance.

 

Speaking on the inspection tour, the Governor, expressed satisfaction with the enviable heights of the ongoing projects in the 27 LGA’s of the State, even as he expressed optimisms that the projects,when completed would be of a very good standard that would last for the test of time.

 

He charged the IMC Boss of Owerri West and the contractors handling the projects to ensure standard.

 

The Governor therefore commended the zeal of the Local Govt. staff and enjoined them to work towards rebuilding the state.

 

“All I want from you is hard work, seriousness and good results as Council workers”, Gov.Ihedioha submitted.

 

” Remember,I give you, Owerri West my first appointment, which is one of your sons,as the State Secretary to the Govt”,Gov. Ihedioha, noted.

 

In his words, the Owerri West IMC Chairman, Hon.Innocent Ekenma,thanked the Government of the Rebuild Mission and promised never to let the Governor and the people of Owerri West down.

 

Hon. Ekenma promised to fix all the deplorable roads in the area in good shape on or before November ending,but called for mutual and effective cooperation.

 

Amongst some of the prominent leaders of the local government who were in attendance includes:Hon.Chief Augustine Rogers Ikechukwu Nwoke,who also described the Rebuild Mission led administration of Chief Ihedioha as a divine gift sent by God to wipe out poverty in Imo State.
