  • Says Okolienta’s Ticket Claims As Dubious

The Imo State Party Chairman of Action Alliance, AA, Hon. Chief Uchendu Tony Ahaneku,(Inine Isu Gburugburu),on Wednesday at a press briefing with some selected Imo Journalists at the Imo NUJ secretariat along Owerri/Port Harcourt Road insisted that Hon. Ugwumba Uche Nwosu remains the authentic governorship candidate of the party in 2019 in Imo State.

The State Chairman of the party while reaffirming the guber candidacy of Nwosu, made it clear that Gov. Rochas Okorocha’s son-in-law, Chief Nwosu has come to rule Imo State as Governor in 2019.

“With Nwosu’s emergence as the Imo AA guber flagbearer, victory is assured because of his political antecedents, capacity and sagacity in the state as a young man”, he said.

Chief Ahaneku, while addressing newsmen on the current governorship ticket saga in Imo AA disclosed that one Hon. Sir. Leonard Okolienta who claims to be the original guber candidate of his party was not officially known in the party, he stressed that he ( Okolienta) was not a registered member of the party.

“Okolienta did not emerge with due process but Nwosu successfully emerged as the candidate of Imo AA flagbearer on due-process. Okolienta is a dubious man with evil intentions to destroy the party.

He only attempted to grab AA guber ticket. He does not deserve to be a leader who came to the party through the backdoor. Okolienta who always claimed to be a knight is known as an evil. He should come out and prove any evidence or documents that shows that he bought the nomination form/expression of interest form from AA. No waiver was given to him. He is not our guber candidate. But Nwosu is going to work in accordance of AA’s blueprints and manifesto”, Ahaneku submitted.

He therefore called on Imo people to join Chief Nwosu to AA for Okorocha’s continuity in leadership styles.
