Immediate Past Permanent Secretary Joins Race for LGA Chairmanship Election

The immediate past Permanent Secretary, Deputy Governor’s office, Alanana  Attah has joined the race of Local Government Chairmanship of Nasarawa Eggon Local Government

 

Attah who is contesting for Chairmanship under the auspices of the ruling All Progressives Congress said he would usher in a new ground to the third tier of Government.

 

Calling on all and sundry to give him a chance to change the narrative and the negative perception attached to the Local Government System.

 

The APC Secretariat along Shendam Road, Lafia remains a busy zone for both Chairmanship and Councillorship aspirants.

 

The Party Secretary, Aliyu Bello said the party as an independent political party needed N500, 000 million to conduct Local Government.

 

Despite the present economic crunch aspirants are trooping in en mass to purchase their party nomination and expression of interest forms.

 

No fewer than six immediate past Council Chairmen have joined the race of the forthcoming Local Government election.

 

They are Samuel Akala aspiring for Chairman of Karu Local Government, Aminu Muazu Maifata for Lafia Local Government, Rabo Sani for Doma, and Mohammed Otto for Nasarawa Local Government.

 

Others are the Council Chairmen of Wamba, Awe, Nasarawa Eggon, and Keffi Local Government respectively.
