The Police Management Team and the Police Service Commission has decided to put on hold the ongoing screening exercise of Policemen who acquired Degree/HND while in service, the decision was based on allegation of malpractices and innuendoes going around.

IGP Solomon E. Arase, fdc, NPM stated this on the 24th December, 2015 during a meeting with the Police Management Team, he further stated that the exercise has been put on hold after consultation with the Police Service Commission.

The Police High Command and Police Service Commission have decided to engage the services of independent assessor for neutrality and free exercise.

When the exercise is completed, each State of the federation will have equal number of representation.

The IGP enjoined all qualified Policemen to be patient and ensure they attend the oncoming screening exercise to be scheduled by the independent body. He assured that all qualified Policemen will be considered appropriately.

Na wa oo, does it mean without Independent assessors, NO NEUTRALITY and FREE EXERCISE. What has happened in Naija?. God we need intervention. I guess Police officers are equal to the tasks, let National Interest leaves them alone.
