Describing his Campaign Strategies as the most nauseating. How would Gov. Lalong endorse such a Personality for a vibrant constituency?
The good people of BASSA/Jos North Federal Constituency of Plateau while lamenting the kind of Political talks being displayed by One Joseph Abbey Aku, a purported aspirant to the seat.
The only thing, he can offer the electorates is the bogus claim that the Governor of Plateau State Bako Lalong is his financier and has solely nominated him as the Government’s Candidate. Who cares about Government candidates in a federal election, in the first place? All Government candidates often fail such competitive elections. Take note.
This same aspirant firstly came out to announce that, the Christian Association of Nigeria, (CAN) has given Lalong an ultimatum to either present Abbey as the only Candidate or be ready to be embarrassed by a series of attacks and blackmails. CAN?
This brand of Politics is a disaster in wait, as described by all the people interviewed.
Abbey is described as one without love for the people, so proud, so arrogant, so stingy, and full of greed.
The entire staff of the Ministry of Commerce, Plateau State interviewed expressed happiness that, Abbey’s exit from the ministry is the happiest thing ever expected. That, the ministry has never had it so pompous, so bad.
At the Government House, Complaints galore, security personnel at the reception desk of the Government House expressed sadness that someone like that can lay claim to Lalong’s and Or CAN nomination as the sole candidate for the BASSA JOS NORTH, describing such insinuations characteristics of the person of Abbey Aku.
At KABONG Tudunwada ward, where he was a counselor, the people of KABONG swore to our reporter that, if Lalong wants, he should back him, it is then he will know that backing such person in a public office of trust like the House of Representatives is done by people and not Governor.
If Lalong supports a good candidate, he will be supported, but a person like Abbey can never win even if it’s Buhari that nominates him.
In Buhit Ward, where he hails from, it was scathing comments galore reserved for him. That as a commissioner for 3 years, nobody from the ward ever received an N50.00 recharge Card from him.
Elders from Buhit ward went to his House, he received them at the gate of his house, sent them away immediately, that Lalong was calling him, without even giving them N500.00 for transport.
Our correspondent had a chart with one each of CAN Excos of BASSA and Jos North, the officer from Jos north referred us to speak to the CAN chair of Jos North,
According to him, he is not in tune with such political issues involving CAN but has been hearing of such bogus claims from the said referenced. In BASSA, the reverend gentleman discounted the insinuating abuse of CAN’s integrity by the aspirant.
He said, “the candidate has every right to seek for a political office but has no right to indulge CAN in his misadventures, he hasn’t done anything to CAN enough for CAN to stake its spiritual integrity”.
The Youth leadership clearly told the Governor to nominate Abbey Aku 100 times; he will fail 100 times, concluding that if Abbey wins the Primaries under any instrumentality, another Party will win the seat. BASSA/ JOS NORTH has no room for extreme religious politics.
Bar. Isha’u described that statement as not for a politician and concluded that Gov. Lalong would never make a mistake of picking up such a person, more so that it is a federal election. Whereas the Governor can express support for a candidate. Such support does not transcend a win, especially for a very unpopular candidate.
