“I Will Transform Adamawa Into Industrial Hub” – Guber Hopeful

All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant in Adamawa State, has pledged to  transform the state into an industrial and agricultural hub of Nigeria if elected governor.

Speaking during his familiarization and meet-the-people tour to Fufore, Gerei LGAs and Borong, Mustapha Salihu, sought the support and blessings of residents and traditional leaders ahead of the 2027 governorship race.

Addressing supporters in Fufore, the APC hopeful described the area as a land full with a lot of potentials needed to be harnessed for the betterment and use of the community

“Fufore is known for massive rice farming, where people outside the state come in to buy, process and then bring it back to sell for the community

“That won’t be the story again, I will ensure we farm and process rice right here in Fufore”

“I strongly count on your support as we work together for the progress of Adamawa State.”

Earlier, Mustapha and his entourage paid a courtesy visit to the Emir of Fufore, Alhaji Sani Ribadu, where he reaffirmed his commitment to making the local government a major center for food production and industrial development, particularly in rice production.

According to him, one of the major federal government interventions in the area is the approval of a Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) project aimed at improving electricity supply in Fufore.

In their separate responds, Sani Ribadu,the Emir of Fufore, Bentley Biyapo, Murum Mbula, expressed appreciation to Salihu for his continued commitment to the development of the area.

The monarch noted that the emirate had already approved land for the establishment of the TCN project facilitated by the APC governorship aspirant.

Admonishing him that power is given by God and should therefore rely on God that gives power and not humans,while urging the aspirant to prioritize security, education and basic needs of the common man.
