Plateau state was agog today as the All Progressive Congress supporters besieged the new government House at little Rayfield to welcome, Governor Simon Lalong .
The venue was filled to capacity with teeming supporters across the 17 local governments who were at hand to witness the celebration of the landslide victory of the APC at election Tribunal of the 26th Oct, 2015 .
The Goemai cultural development association (GUDO) were there with their masquerade to entertain many dignitaries which includes, Ambassador Yahaya Kwande ,APC Chairman Latep Dabang, Federal House of Representatives Members ,House of Assembly members and the management committee chairmen .
Governor Simon Bako Lalong has vowed that he will never sleep until he recover the stolen mandates from the former Jonah Jang .
He thanked the almighty God for his victory at election tribunal and the good people of Plateau state for standing with APC government.
Lalong stated this at the new government house while welcoming mammoth APC supporters in Jos .
He congratulated the people of Plateau state on behalf of President Muhammadu Buhari for extending their hands of fellowship to the state.
According to him, God will never disappoint the people of Plateau, when he has pronounced the winner.
“I promised not to wear big clothes again because work will soon commence across the state and we shall be paying courtesy visit to people of Plateau who voted us into power “.
“When we came into power the conditions of the civil servants was so deplorable but now work had resume in all the look and craning of the state”.
We have done our very best that peace to return in Plateau for those who refused to listen we soon go after them.
Lalong commended the media for partnering with the government to achieve total peace in the state.
He assured those who work for the victory of the party that will benefit from the government of change which is their slogan.
Chairman Latep Dabang lauded the APC supporters for the victory at the tribunal, asking them to see the judgment as God divine favour.
He reaffirmed the supporters for demonstrating their faithfulness to the party by coming to welcome Governor Lalong from the Holy Land where he pray for the return of peace in the state.
Dabang promised to deliver their campaign promises to the people of Plateau state to benefit from the administration of Bar Simon Lalong government.
He expressed confidence on the tribunal chairman for taken his time to digest on the judgment ,stressing further that PDP hope of getting the victory was an imagination when he listen lawyers final argument.
The Management committee of Jos North, Hon Theresa Azi said the people governor who will deliver more on his campaign.
She noted that the we are prepared to give the government that would transform Plateau to enviable height.
