The Jigawa Governor Alhaji Muhammed Badaru Abubakar has said that he would not be distracted or intimidated by detractors that the All Progressives Congress (APC) party has not executed new projects across the state.
Governor Abubakar made the assertion at the official presentation of a constituency office,15 cars, 80 motorcycles among others by the member of house of Representatives of Guri/Kirikasamma/Birniwa Dr. Abubakar HassanFulata at Kirikasamma local government area.
Badaru said, “it is the same people that are criticising us today that have failed to put adequate repairing measures of classrooms, hospitals in the previous administrations that are accusing us of foot dragging on the execution of new projects across the state”, he stated.
He said, “‘because we inherited massive disrepair of schools, poor health care facilities and billions of Naira worth of abandoned road projects that we swore to complete and repair before embarking upon new ones yet they have the audacity to criticise us”, he stated.
Badaru who said that the people of the state know better than to listen to those critics pleaded for more patience declaring that, “after completing their abandoned roads projects we would open-up new ones”.
Earlier, the house of Representatives member from Guri/Kirikasamma/Birniwa federal constituency Dr. Abubakar Hassan Fulata has presented an office complex that would serve as his constituency office, cars, motorcycles, sewing machines, wielding machines other Working vocational implements worth about N40 million to the people of the area.
Making the presentation, Dr. Fulata said the gesture is borne out of his zeal to support the poor people from his area through empowering them with working tools that would serve as means of livelihood to them.
