An Aspirant for the Jos North /Bassa Federal Constituency in 2023, Hon Sadeeq Plaza has disclosed that he has the overwhelming support of all a sundry in APC to enable me to contest for Jos North /Bassa constituency if given the mandate.
He made this a session as he declared his intention to contest the forthcoming primaries of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead 2023 general elections.
Plaza who was at the APC Secretariat on Saturday, says my ambition is to ensure credible and purposeful representation during his visit to Jos.
According to him, as a politician of high repute, I can’t decamp to any political party, we are strong supporters and we remain in APC.
He explained further that “, there is time for me to officially resign my position in the office which has to follow the right channel of communication to effect that due process.
Sadeeq Plaza stated that the reasons why the APC screening committee in the last Congress screened him out of the race for the Jos North /Bassa bye-elections primaries “.
He said the committee members were not fair to him, and they embark on broadcasting that he had not resigned from his office before coming to the contest.
Plaza debunked allegations that he and his supporters defect to the RPR during the bye-elections, but he rather revealed that as an APC stalwart he is still committed to the party ideology.
He said, my aspirations are well accepted across all tribes and religious affiliations in Plateau state because I have demonstrated sincerity and honesty in handling the people of Plateau in my future endeavour .
Hon Sadeeq Plaza encouraged politicians to stop promoting parochial interest and work towards improving the well-being of Nigerians.
