I Don’t Think There’s Anything To Celebrate Under APC Govt, Dogara Lambasts Tinubu

The Plateau State chapter of the Social Democratic Party,PDP, Chairman. Hon.Abubakar Dogara has lambasted President Ahmed Tinubu’s administration one year in office for a lack of political will in addressing the suffering Nigerians as the country is bleeding under the APC government.

Dogara made this disclosure in an exclusive interview with the media in the Jos headquarters of SDP Murtala House.

He said,” I don’t think there is anything to write home about the APC government at the national level because people are suffering seriously in this country so there no any point for anybody in this country to say that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has performed.

“There is nothing to show for any development or achievement recorded in the last year. You see immediately he was sworn into office he brought hardship and suffering Nigerians, why, because that mentioning of subsidy removal had brought us the genesis and start of Nigeria people so I don’t think he has anything to celebrate,” Dogara explained.

According to him, so far I can only give him credit to the president on the autonomy granting the local government system which takes effect within 90 days.

He stated that the people are yearning for better service delivery in Nigeria to enjoy the dividends of democracy.

Dogara emphasized that the level of hunger and unemployment is on the rise and federal and state governments need to put mechanisms on the ground to tackle them headlong.

He pointed out that the autonomy is another victory for democracy because the exercise will bring development to the 774 LGAs and at the same time give opportunity for the people to enjoy participation.

Abubakar urged politicians to protect democracy by ensuring that the people are united and enjoy peaceful coexistence.
